The Biggest Vegan Egg Hunt Ever

Looking for something safe and fun to do with your kids to do that celebrates spring, animals, vegan food, and community?

The Biggest Vegan Egg Hunt Ever is a first-of-its-kind free virtual family event on April 3rd at 10 am PDT/1 pm EDT.

Some things to look forward to at the event:

• meet famed vegan author/illustrator Ruby Roth, see her in her studio and learn to draw a bunny in her cool style
• meet rescued animals at Animal Place, including two new lambs
• a food craft with fruits and/or veggies
• quick food demos for yummy dips for those fruits and veggie creations, including one by Dreena Burton
• a sing-a-long with Ian, president of Animal Hero Kids, and his mom Annette
• cameos by 12-year-old British cooking show host, cookbook author, and Dipalicious entrepreneur Omari McQueen,  and by Tina Newman, British author of the Vivi the Supervegan series
• funny jokes
• an at-home scavenger hunt for vegan treat- or trinket-filled eggs in kids’ homes (We’ll send hiding places to parents ahead of time, and kids search for them based on our clues during the event)
• a chance to win prizes galore with proof of purchase or owning The Vegucated Family Table or a donation to Animal Place
• post-event socializing time while exploring a virtual world created just for them so kids can get a chance to meet and interact with each other

Younger vegan kids don’t always have a sense of veganism as a growing, exciting movement that adults or teens have because little ones aren’t on social media, so this is a chance for them to scroll through pages of other vegan kids from all over, who share their values and ethics. The idea is to bolster their sense of belonging, joy, community, and vegan pride.
